The Benchmade 8 Hook | 8 BLKW is a specialized and compact rescue tool engineered for quick and efficient cutting in emergency scenarios. Designed as a single-piece instrument, its primary function is facilitated by a precisely sized 1/2″ hook gap, optimized for safely slicing through materials like seatbelts, cords, and fabric without endangering the individual. The entire tool is constructed from robust 440C stainless steel, known for its durability and corrosion resistance, and is hardened to a range of 58-60 HRC. A Black Cerakote® finish is applied to the tool, providing additional protection and a non-reflective surface. With an overall length of 6.5 inches (16.51 cm) and a minimal weight of 1.43 ounces (40.54g), the 8 Hook is highly portable. It is designed for ambidextrous use and is MOLLE compatible, allowing for versatile attachment to tactical gear. This rescue hook does not feature a traditional pocket clip or a lanyard hole. It comes standard with a Black Nylon Sheath equipped with a Malice Clip for secure and convenient carry on MOLLE webbing or belts.
