The Dirac marks a significant introduction to the Microtech lineup as the first double-action out-the-front (OTF) knife to feature a cover firing slider mechanism. It is built upon a newly designed ergonomic chassis, incorporating curved lines reminiscent of the HALO series, offering a distinct tactile experience compared to other handle styles produced by Microtech. This particular OTF design has been extensively refined and brought to production with Microtech’s signature ultra-high manufacturing tolerances. Completing the package are elements such as proprietary hardware, an innovative internal firing system, and an integrated glass breaker. With an overall length of 7.25 inches, the Dirac is ideally sized for convenient everyday carry. This specific model is presented with red camo Cerakote finished aluminum handle scales, paired with a matching red camo finished M390 stainless steel double-edge dagger blade. It features red finished hardware, pocket clip, and glass breaker tip, with the pocket clip bearing the Microtech logo, Signature Series logo, serial number, and production date.
