The Kershaw Lucid | 2036 is an assisted opening folding knife designed for reliable performance during everyday tasks and work. This model features a 3.2-inch (8.1 cm) Clip Point blade with a plain edge, crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, a common blade steel known for its good balance of strength, edge retention, and corrosion resistance, and is easy to sharpen. The blade has a flat grind and a stonewashed finish, which helps to hide scratches from use. The blade is quickly and easily deployed using the assisted opening mechanism, activated by the integrated flipper. The handle is constructed with a blue textured glass-filled nylon (GFN) front scale and a stainless steel back, providing a secure grip and a sturdy frame lock mechanism for reliable blade lock-up. The knife features black-oxide handle screws and a bead-blasted pocket clip. The deep-carry pocket clip is reversible for right or left-handed, tip-up carry, making it versatile for different users. With an overall length of 7.4 inches (18.8 cm) when open and a closed length of 4.2 inches (10.7 cm), and weighing 4.3 ounces (122 g), the Lucid is a practical size and weight for pocket carry.
